Hi!
I'm Olivia. My books are...
-
Always no spice + no swearing
-
Centered around fun romance
-
Humorous without shying away from life's real challenges
I'm a mom, a wife, an author, a reader, a Trekkie, and, occasionally, a musical theater actress. I've always loved writing stories (i.e. my middle-school-era Twilight knock-off featuring time travelers instead of vampires), but I started writing in earnest in 2018 when I was trapped under a sleeping baby for hours on end—and I haven't been able to stop since! (Send help... I need to sleep!)

I'm currently "dating around" with genres, meaning I haven't done the smart thing and chosen a single genre to write in yet. My debut novel, Mount of Lost Memories, is a YA romantic fantasy. My upcoming book, The Heart of War, is a regency romance. And my current work in progress is... well, I guess the closest genre would be contemporary paranormal romance. (Could it possibly be my Twilight knock-off? You'll just have to wait and find out.)

The Heart of War
If love is war, then London's marriage mart is a battlefield—and Helena Weston is its most cunning general. The accomplished daughter of a viscount, Helena is the jewel of the season, but when her father's fortune collapses, she faces the unthinkable: marriage not as a conquest, but as survival.
Using Sun Tzu's The Art of War as her courtship playbook, Helena has two months to secure a husband rich enough to save her family. She selects three candidates for her scheme, including Edmond Hawke, a newcomer to London with a mysterious past and an insufferable tendency to jeopardize her carefully laid plans.

With her future on the line, Helena must decide what victory truly means—and whether surrendering to love is the most strategic move of all.

“Deceit finds no sanctuary within our ranks.” —The codes of Truth and Integrity
Plagued by famine and war, the world needs magic. Desperately. And one girl will do anything it takes to steal it.
An outsider among her clan, Mayra has tried everything to earn her place… and has failed miserably. But when a mysterious traveler from the Mount, an isolated mountain fortress that has hidden magic away for a thousand years, asks for her clan's help, Mayra is finally given a chance to prove her worth—by stealing the Mount’s magic.
With only a month to find, obtain, and escape with the source of magic, Mayra must garner the trust of the suspicious mages and the handsome yet heartless Prince Corin, whose own motivations could endanger not only Mayra’s mission, but also the world.
But how can one girl who has never even held a real sword succeed where armies and nations have failed?

I fell in love with this story.
I was truly swept away in the tale of magic, forgiveness, and enduring love.

This was the best book I’ve read in a while, I absolutely devoured it! The writing is flawless, and the characters are so complex and beautiful.

Mayra and Corin have an electric dynamic and their chemistry is palpable from the beginning.

I make relatable content about the growing paints of writing. I love the authorgram community. So if you're a fellow author, or an avid reader, or just someone who occasionally glances at their dusty books on that bookshelf you haven't touched in seven years—well, come say hi.
